The Yacht – How It Feels to Live On Board

What we value most about this Lagoon 52 is how naturally life on board works.

Cockpit, saloon and flybridge flow into one open living space. There is light, air and room to move — even with several people on board. Nothing feels cramped or complicated. Daily routines feel easy, whether at anchor, underway or during longer stays.

Space That Adapts

The 6-cabin layout gives this yacht its flexibility.

It allows privacy when needed, space to work, and room for guests without compromise. Some cabins can simply become what life requires at that moment — a workspace, a quiet retreat, or additional storage. This adaptability has made a real difference in everyday life on board.

Layout: 6-cabin version

Cabins:

  • 6 double cabins, each with en-suite bathroom

  • 1 crew cabin in the forepeak

Bathrooms: 6 + crew

Saloon: Spacious panoramic saloon with excellent natural light

Flybridge: Helm station with seating and sun lounging areas

Bathrooms – Privacy That Makes a Difference

Having six separate bathrooms, one for each cabin, adds a level of comfort that is often underestimated.

For us as a family, it meant individual space and privacy for everyone. Daily routines remained relaxed, even with many people on board. The same applied to guests — everyone had their own space, without compromise.

When not all bathrooms are needed, unused bathrooms are simply used as additional storage, adding practical flexibility for longer stays on board.

Sailing

Sailing "GEMMA" feels calm and predictable.
The boat is easy to handle, even with a small crew, and remains stable and balanced in a wide range of conditions. The sail plan is set up for reliability and everyday use rather than performance sailing, which makes longer passages relaxed and confidence-building.

It is a yacht that allows you to sail without constantly managing or correcting — you set the sails, find your rhythm, and let the boat do what it was designed to do.

The galley is designed for real use, not just appearance.
There is space to cook properly, to store food for longer periods and to prepare meals without feeling confined. A large refrigerator and a large freezer make a noticeable difference in daily life on board — especially during longer stays at anchor or extended passages, when flexibility and storage matter most.

Cooking on board has been part of daily life — simple meals, shared evenings, and the normal rhythm of living aboard rather than “holiday cooking”. The galley supports that naturally.

Safety

Safety

Safety has always been a central consideration for us.
This yacht was prepared and equipped with the mindset that extended cruising requires: redundancy, clarity and equipment that can be relied on in real situations — not just on paper. The safety setup reflects a conservative, practical approach, designed to provide confidence offshore as well as close to shore.

Tender

The tender has been a reliable and important extension of the yacht.
It is stable, solid and comfortably accommodates up to six people, making everyday trips ashore safe and relaxed — even with family or guests.

The 40 HP outboard provides both safety and enjoyment. It allows confident manoeuvring in chop, quick response when needed, and makes longer distances easily reachable, whether for exploring anchorages, visiting nearby bays or running practical errands ashore.
